This personal portfolio uses a small, first-party analytics system to understand which pages and topics are useful. It measures aggregate audience patterns; it does not create named or persistent visitor profiles.
Checking this browser’s preference…
What the analytics system counts
- Page paths from a fixed list, without query strings or fragments
- A fixed referring category such as Search, Social, Academic, ChatGPT, or Other; full referrer URLs are not sent or stored
- Coarse country, browser, operating-system, device, language, and viewport categories
- UTC day and hour
- Section interest and clicks to destinations on a fixed, approved list
What it does not store
The analytics database does not store names, email addresses, ChatGPT account details, IP addresses, raw user-agent strings, query strings, full referrer URLs, exact locations, keystrokes, form content, mouse trails, advertising IDs, session replay, or any visitor or session identifier. It cannot identify a visitor, recognize a repeat visitor, or reconstruct an individual browsing history.
How the data is used and retained
The counters are used to understand general traffic trends, improve navigation, and learn which portfolio topics receive interest. The database contains aggregate counters rather than raw event records. Counters are kept for a rolling period of up to 180 days and older values are removed as the system runs. Dashboard breakdowns combine values with fewer than three observations into a limited-data group. The hosting database may keep short-lived recovery history after an active counter is removed.
Your choices
The first-party analytics code sets no analytics cookies. It stops when a browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track. The control above can save one first-party opt-out preference in this browser; that preference is used only to prevent analytics collection and is not sent to the server. The privacy page and private analytics dashboard are never measured. Optional browser analytics is also disabled for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland; that eligibility decision happens before the tracker reads browser characteristics or referrer information.
Hosting and security
OpenAI hosts this Site and its aggregate database. OpenAI and its hosting providers may process operational and security information needed to deliver and protect the Site. Infrastructure security cookies, including Cloudflare's __cf_bm cookie, may be set independently of this first-party analytics system.
For more information, see the ChatGPT Sites Terms, the ChatGPT Sites Data Processing Addendum, and the Cloudflare cookie documentation.
Privacy questions
Questions can be sent to the person who shared this portfolio. Some privacy laws may provide rights to object or ask about personal data. Because this analytics database contains no visitor identifier or event-level record, it cannot retrieve an individual analytics history.
